Idstein, Germany — A timber-frame or “half-timbered” building, seen at night in Idstein’s Altstadt (“Old Town”). Situated on Idstein’s Marktplatz at Am Hexenturm, it now houses the Rialto Zum Tal, an Italian restaurant, an ice cream parlor, and a pasticceria.

Because of its well-preserved, historic Altstadt, Idstein is part of the Deutsche Fachwerkstraße (“German Timber-Frame Road“), which connects towns with fine timber-frame buildings and houses.

Cleo is clean and modern in shape but adds a decorative touch to the tabletop with a sweeping line across the surface separating the two tones. It has a Mid-Century modern feel to it with a suggestion of organic activity.
