Bruce Willis perfume: Smart guys live forever

This item was on NPR’s Morning Edition today: Bruce Willis: ‘Manliest Scent In The World. NPR reports that the Bruce Willis smell consists of “macho splashes of grapefruit, cedar and pepper.”

Sure enough, a post at Geekosystem confirms that the Bruce Willis fragrance is hitting stores this week:

First announced in April, the collection includes hair and body wash, deodorant, aftershave balm, and eau de parfum–which clocks in at ~15% aromatic compounds compared to eau de cologne’s ~5%–since naturally, badasses need to smell strongly of badasses.

Bruce Willis Eau de Parfum (tagline: “Smart guys live forever”) and the other Bruce Willis fragrance products are being introduced by Germany’s LR Health & Beauty Systems, which also offers other celebrity beauty products — including lines for Leona Lewis, Desperate Housewives, Heidi Klum, and Boris Becker.

An article at United Networker Magazine notes the cologne family’s macho packaging:

A metal badge adorns the exceptionally high-quality glass flacon, which is also heavy in the hand. The bottle top is a cap of genuine cedar wood from sustainably harvested resources. Each bottle of perfume is thus one-of-a-kind, as each wooden cap has, by nature, an individual grain. The bottle labelling has been intentionally positioned diagonally to highlight the individuality and distinctiveness of the movie star. For the packaging, LR has opted for the look of brushed aluminium and embossed riveting.

Doesn’t that sound great?

Much better than “Bald guy in a bottle.”
